Shawn Pardy – Construction Management Consultant, Team Crew

Shawn started in residential construction in Edmonton, Alberta in the early 1990′s. He then moved out east to complete a program in carpentry, construction and joinery at the College of the North Atlantic. Shawn worked in St.John’s, Newfoundland, where he built houses for a couple of years before moving north to build schools near Baffin Island. He returned to Alberta in the late 1990′s and got involved in commercial construction. Since then Shawn has been involved in building high rise condominiums, office buildings, schools, institutions, industrial projects and high end residential. He has worked in the field as a carpenter, a foreman and a superintendent, and brings this wealth of skills as a part of the team crew for Canada’s entry in the Solar Decathlon 2011. In his free time, Shawn likes hanging out with his family, playing guitar with friends and riding his motor bike.
